Benjamin Borenstein

Musical Supervisor

A member of the Syracuse theatre community since the age of eight, Ben holds his A.A.S. in Music from OCC, a B.S. in Marketing from Le Moyne College, and is currently completing his Masters in Arts Administration at Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Musical Director credits include: The Last Five Years & Songs For a New World (Encore Presentations); Little Women, Godspell & Oliver! (CNY Art Center); The Toxic Avenger (Fulton Community Center).

​

In addition to his talent on the piano, Ben plays trumpet, guitar and dabbles with percussion, playing for numerous local productions, including: Urinetown (Baldwinsville Theatre Guild); First Date (CNY Playhouse); Into the Woods (Not Another Theatre Company); and The Wedding Singer (Jordan-Elbridge High School).

On stage, Ben's favorite roles have included Bob Wallace in White Christmas; Conrad Birdie in Bye, Bye Birdie & Ted in Peter and the Starcatcher. Likewise, Ben has performed in the Syracuse Opera under the direction of Douglas Kinney Frost; and has been a Musical Instructor for the Redhouse Arts Center's in-house educational programming.
