Navroz Dabu

Scenic Designer

Navroz is excited to helm the scenic design and set painting for Thanasis Theatre Company's debut production of Fugitive Songs. Most recently, he created the set for Cayuga Community College's Harlequin Production of Jill Trent Science Sleuth; CNY Playhouse's Annie; and Auburn Players' productions of Lil' Abner and Romeo and Juliet. Navroz's past scenic design adventures include productions for CNY Playhouse; Baldwinsville Theater Guild; Syracuse Shakespeare Festival; Le Moyne College's Gifford Family Theater; Skaneateles Summer Theatre; Rochester's Kalida Theatre; Simply New Theater; The Talent Company; Appleseed Productions; and Wit's End Players.

Navroz has won multiple awards and honors for his work, including: the SALT award for Best Scenic Design in 2009, 2017 and 2019; and eight TANYS awards: four for Best Scenic Design, three Excellence awards, and one Merit award.
