Youth Auditions for

PLEASE NOTE:

All Youth Performers must be between the ages of 8 and 18 years old in order to audition for this production, and all performers must audition in order to be cast in the show.

There is no cost for Youth Performers to participate in this production.

TO SUBMIT A VIDEO AUDITION:

Please email a 30-60 second video of you singing Happy Birthday, OR a musical theatre/Disney song of your choice, with either a backing track/accompaniment, or a cappella to thanasis.theatre@gmail.com by Wednesday, 11/30 at 5pm.

Please also include your name, age, 100-150 words about yourself, and any conflicts with the below rehearsal/performance dates.

You may be asked to attend a Zoom callback on Tuesday (11/29) or Wednesday (11/30) evening in order to read for a principal character. Otherwise, audition scenes may be filmed and submitted by email, but are due by 11/30 at 11:59pm.

REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES:

Beginning December 6th, there will be eight weekly rehearsals (except 12/27) from 4pm - 8pm on Tuesday evenings at The Central Valley Boys & Girls Club, located at 212 Van Buren Rd., Syracuse, NY 13202.

Dinner will be provided to all Youth Participants circa 6pm each week. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies.

There will be three nightly tech rehearsals beginning on Monday, February 6th at SALTSpace Studios, where the show will take place.

There may be one Monday rehearsal added in January

There will be FOUR PERFORMANCES at SALTSpace Studios:
Thursday, February 9th at 7pm
Friday, February 10th at 7pm
Saturday, December 11th & 3pm & 7pm

The matinee on December 3rd will be a Sensory Friendly performance
